Cosplay Competition

 

At Weston Super Sonic, we highly encourage cosplay. We love seeing the hard work that's gone into making each costume and reward the best on the day with prizes!

 

Rules for cosplay:

 

1. No weapons and no realistic looking weapons. This is to ensure safety for everyone. Thankfully the Sonic series doesn't tend to use much in the way of realistic looking weapons. Toy ones that clearly look like toys are allowed. For example, Shadow with a Super Soaker is acceptable (Although we ask you don't fill the soaker with water!)

 

2. Although purchased costumes are allowed, we encourage cosplayers to make their costumes. The more original and more hard work gone into it, the more likely it will win!

 

3. No entering costumes from previous years. We like to see something new! (This does not count cosplays from SoS!)

 

4. All costumes must have a Sonic/Sega theme. Please no entering Mario or Samus costumes, no matter how good they might be.

 

5. All costumes must be suitable for all ages, so no suggestive, gorey, nudity, swearing, etc. There will be children at this event, so we want to make sure the content of the event is age appropriate. This also means no Sonic .EXE please!

 

6. Please be aware of your costume size. Although the venue is big, the doors are not so big! Please make sure it can fit through double doors!
